Meeting Minutes: October 11, 2012

LOCATION:	National Seed

PROGRAM:	Mark Breier and Kevin Spiller gave a presentation on Turf Seed Get The Facts and the use of beneficial bacteria and mychorrhizai fungi in the soil.

BUSINESS MEETING	Matt Gaynor called the meeting to order at 12:26 P.M. Matt thanked Mark and Kevin, and National Seed for providing lunch. 40 members and guests were present.

TREASURER'S REPORT:	Treasurers report was approved

COMMITTEE REPORTS:	Membership: 1st readings Rob Kurtz –Park District of Oak Park Ryan Priola-Safety Supply Illinois Program: We will be at Russo Equipment in November Awards/ Scholarships: Mike Fletcher asked people to submit award application to Marv, if they need hard copy Marv will send to them. Due November 15. Nominations: Todd King nominate Terry Wolf for Board Director, Terry Wolf accepted nomination.

OLD BUSINESS:	None

NEW BUSINESS:	Bill Brauer asked if Mechanics Workshop is dead, Marv replied that Eric and Brent Carpenter, Glenview need to work on things if we are going to try for next year.
